Baskets

Baskets that attach to the front of a bicycle are handy for putting loose items in and are useful for short rides on smooth surfaces. They are also harder to find and I had to take a trip to BicycleWA headquarters to locate some.

Instead of a handlebar bag, you could elect to use a front mounted basket for those short rides. You could also put your small pet dog into one of these.

Review – Topeak Disk Brake Super Tourist Rack

Having just recently purchased a disk brake mountain bike, I needed a decent rack for the rear to hang my panniers on. None of the other racks that I have laying around would fit, so I needed a disk brake compatible pannier rack.

Review – Ortlieb Bar Bag.

After two days of riding straight into head winds once, I decided most of the things in the handle bar bag could go elsewhere on the bike, so I went in search of a smaller handle bar bag to hold my valuables and other frequently needed things. I was able to get an Ortlieb handle bar bag which is a lot smaller than most standard handlebar bags.

Topeak Road Morph Pump

I have had the Topeak Road Morph pump for several years now and apart from the pressure gauge reading incorrectly when it’s not plugged into anything, I have not had any problems with it.

Review – Topeak MTX Rack Top Bag

This is a sneak preview review of the Topeak MTX rack top bag. It has some excellent features that make it handy for commuters. It also has a decent locking mechanism to lock it to the top of the rack.

Review – Trekking Bars

Guess who got a new set of handlebars? After being sick of riding on a bike with flat bars and bar ends, I needed somewhere else to put my hands. I looked at drop bars (racing style, upside down bull horns) but it would mean changing my brake and gear levers to fit them.

Review – Michelin Rack Bag

In this article we are going to be looking at the Michelin Rack bag. To start with, the bag arrived in good condition and I even saw an assembly note on top on how to put it onto the bike rack.

Review – BOB Ibex Trailer

This is a review of the BOB Ibex trailer which is much the same as the BOB Yak trailer which we have reviewed. The major difference with the Ibex is that it has a rear spring. It also sits higher than the Yak, and has two extra water cage mountings, giving a total of four cage mountings. It is designed for off road riding.

Road Testing The B.O.B. YAK Trailer

I have just been out cycling with a BOB YAK Trailer attached to the rear of the bike and have been putting it through it’s paces.
