While not available until January 2008, we have had a quick look at the specifications and for the bicycle tourist who likes to travel in luxury, one of these may be worth considering. What interested us is the fact that it will hook up behind any bike, is quick to erect and has a large 110 litre storage capacity with side access as well. While some people may argue the weight, some quick calculations of the weight of steel racks, BOB trailer, tent, mattress and other things, don't really make that much difference.

Other advantages I find, would be the fact that your valuables at night would be under you, so you would be sleeping on top of them. You could also lock your bike to the trailer. The ease of set up would be especially good for Western Australians when camping in sand. No more trying to get the tent pegs to stay in the sand.
The Midget Solo Bushtrekka has some additional options, such as a stove and LPG bottle, extended annexe and a rainfly. The extended annexe would be handy for keeping the bike out of the rain and for an extended stop over when on an extended tour.
