Kalbarri Eco Flora Cycle Path

This path takes you from Eco Flora Estate to the south edge of the Kalbarri National Park. This section of path is good for touring as it allows you to come off of the main road and travel on a path without any traffic. Also you do not have to pedal too much because it is all down hill if you are riding up from the south.

This Ride Guide also leads onto other paths in the Kalbarri area. We have other ride guides for these as well. They are the Kalbarri Melaleuca path and the Kalbarri Town path.

This ride follows the coast and passes some scenic areas. Feel free to deviate from our advised route and visit other areas. Most of all enjoy yourself.

Nice new path.

One of the things to watch out for at this end of this path are the thorns. These seeds are blown onto the path which may cause punctures in your tyres. These are mostly around when they are in season.

Once you have climbed the hill on the other side of the road there should be a sign called Red Bluff. If you look behind you, there will be a great view of the water and town. At this point of the ride you are about 5 km out of Kalbarri town. Looking forward, the path then goes up near a house fence line.

At this point of the ride, you will see some great ocean views, and for the rest of the ride on the path. You will have to cross one road as the path ends and then starts again on the other side so watch for traffic.

After crossing the road this ride will take you to the end of this path. Along this section you have to watch out for those thorns. It can be tricky when you are taking in the view. Near the end of the path there will be a sign across the main road called Pot Alley Gorge and right at the end of the path you come to the main road. This is a good point if riding up from the south with loaded bike to exit the road. Unfortunately you will have to ride on the wrong side of the road or ride your bike over the island in the middle of the road because there is no gap in the island. You can ride through to get to the right side of the road and head out on the main leading road out of Kalbarri and this brings you to the end of this ride.
